About Taxila Business School
Starting in 2003, AICTE approved, situated in the middle of the commercial city of Jaipur, the Taxila Business School is marinated in a custom of offering cutting-edge business education to its students. Taxila’s futuristic and challenging curriculum, outstanding faculty, and cohesive alumni network ensure Taxila students are prepared to become the next generation of leaders.
The program is PGDM+ Business Analytics with Dual Specialisation. This means Business Analytics is compulsory concentration for every one and apart from that, students need to take two more major concentrations.
Class Timings: Generally teaching hours are from 9:00 morning till midnight.
You will start with an orientation week, which includes the leadership and team building weekend workshop, introducing some basic concepts and techniques, as well as giving you a chance to get to know your tutors and fellow students.
The program is spread over six terms of about three months each. These core courses enhance the ability to communicate, analyze situations and take decisions using quantitative and qualitative factors, and to develop a holistic view of the different functional areas and the business environment.
During this period, students take courses in general management and major functional areas, such as Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Operations Management, Organization Behaviors, Human Resources, Strategic Management, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing.
The first three terms are devoted to core modules with Business Analytics and Digital Marketing covering hard technical knowledge in areas such as strategy, organizational behavior, finance, and quantitative methods.
Dual Major from third Trimester: After the third term the students specialize in a minimum of two major functional areas apart from Business Analytics. The institute may also consider new electives in line with latest developments and availability of expertise to offer the same.
Taxila Business School offers three internships during the PGDM program.
Mancomm or Managerial Communication is the innovation of Taxila. Understanding the needs of industry, Taxila emphasises in developing managers for tomorrow with a clear vision & firm Communication. Under this head, students are given a topic of their choice every fortnight to research, analyze & finally present. This involves presentation in front of the masses helps to break the shackles of hesitation.
In terms of the provisions under the All India Council for Technical Education Regulations 2012 notified by the council vide notification number F-No. 37-3/Lega1/2012 dated 27/09/2012 & other notifications, as applicable Taxila Business School is approved to offer PGDM. Taxila accepts CAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, ATMA, and MAT scores. Aspirants seeking admission to Taxila PGDM must have min 50% marks in graduation for General and 45% for reserved category as per AICTE norms. Students appearing in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

The selected candidates need to deposit Rs.50,000 against registration fee as mentioned in the call letter, failing which the candidature will get canceled and the seat will be passed to the next candidate in waiting.
If the name does not appear in the selection list, the candidate may deposit Rs.25000/ (irrevocable) to keep her/his waiting list alive. On the cancellation/ dropout of students, the seat will be offered to such candidates on the priority/ merit basis. In case of non-selection, Rs.25000/- will be refunded back to the student on the 10th day of Batch start. In the case of selection Rs.25000/ will be adjusted against registration fee.
Suitable weightings for Work Experience, Academic & Regional background, Professional Qualification, Institution of Excellence etc. are also given.
NOTE: Applying for admission does not ensure that candidates will be called for GD / PI process or get admission. The discretion of the admission committee of the Institute will be final in all such matters.
