IIEBM was established in the year 2000 by Shrimant Vijaysinh Naik Nimbalkar Alias Shivajiraje, a scion of the ruling family of Phaltan, District Satara, and Col. Vinod Marwaha, a visionary, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Education in the pre-merger era in the State of Phaltan was provided by the Royal Family. ‘His Highness Shrimant Mudhojirao Naik Nimbalkar ruler of Phaltan State who had established the first school in the year 1893.After the merger of erstwhile princely states with the mainstream Government, the staff of the State of Phaltan was transferred to the Government. This led to the establishment of the “Phaltan Education Society” which was registered under the Bombay Public Trusts Act 1950 on 27th April 1953.

Admissions – Eligibility

The candidate should be a graduate / post-graduate in any discipline from Universities and Institutions recognized by AICTE / UGC / AIU with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Valid Competitive Exam Score

Candidates are required to have appeared in any of the following competitive exams, namely CAT / MAT / CMAT / XAT / ATMA / GMAT or any competitive exam/test acceptable as per AICTE guidelines.

Candidates with minimum 3 years of work experience can also apply. They would be required to submit an experience certificate signed by the Head – HR of the company in which they have worked. Competitive exam scores in these cases will not be required

Scholarship

  • At IIEBM we believe in encouraging sincerity, hard work and promoting meritocracy. Scholarship is awarded to students on case basis based on following criterion like

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND SELECTION PROCESS

1. Min. 50 percent marks in class X, XII and graduation

2. Graduation from a recognized university

3. UPESMET/National Level Test followed by Group Discussion

Convocation fee:

Student will be charged Rs. 1500 as convocation fee to be paid in penultimate semester (Second Last). Since, LLM is one year duration course, this fee is payable at the time of registration.

Alumni fee:

Rs. 1500 as Alumni fees will be charged at the time of Registration.

Technology fee:

Being 1st year of Technology Fee, the fee for the year 2021-22 is Rs. 3,200/- per semester and for next year, it will be decided next year. It is mandatory for all students to bring their Laptop as per the configuration mentioned in the admission offer letter or on the UPES website. Technology fee includes providing licensed software’s and internet bandwidth for the entire duration of the program. However, it is mandatory for each incoming student to be equipped with a laptop conforming to the minimum specifications of UPES, which will be detailed at the time of admission and is available on the website www.upes.ac.in.

Hostel Facility:

Residential blocks have been earmarked for limited on – campus accommodation (on first come first serve basis) separately for boys and girls on triple sharing basis.

Student wishing to avail hostel facility (On-campus) will need to deposit;

The fee indicated below is for academic session 2021-22 only and is on triple sharing basis

Fee:

  • Rs. 1,70,000/- Regular Hostel for boys and girls at Bidholi and Kandoli Campus. However for girls students we also have a few additional triple sharing rooms with ad-on facilities only at the Kandholi campus as indicated below:
    1. Rs. 1,90,000/- for hostel room with attached washroom (only for girls)
    2. (II). Rs. 2,13,500/- for hostel room with attached washroom and Air conditioning (only for girls)
  • Interest free refundable Hostel security Fee: Rs. 10,000/-

Note: – Hostel Refund: There will be no refund of hostel fee in case of withdrawal.

Refundable Security:

Refundable (interest free) security amount of Rs. 20,000/- is also payable at the time of registration.

20% Scholarship for Girl Students for Intake in Postgraduate Programs at UPES for Academic Year 2021-22

This scholarship will be offered for first year on the tuition fee to all girl students taking admission in UPES in the
year 2021 subject to a minimum 60% marks in their undergraduate program. The renewal of the scholarship will
only be offered for subsequent years based on the below criteria:

  • The student must have enrolled at UPES for any of its Post-Graduate Programs in the Academic Year
    2021-22
  • The student must not intermit or defer at any point of registration with UPES for his/her Post-Graduate
    Studies
  • The student must have an attendance record of at least 85% in each of the semesters
  • The student must obtain minimum 8 CPGA in the previous year/years.The student have not been debarred for appearing in the end semester examination due to shortage of attendance, disciplinary grounds or any other action which is against the code of conduct stated by the
    University
  • The student must pass all his/her courses in the first attempt
  • The student must have not appeared in any improvement exam for any of the courses for the entire
    duration of the program
  • Scholarship once discontinued during the entire duration of the program will be treated as discontinuation
    of the scholarship for the entire duration of the program.

  • The PGDM Program is open to graduates of any University recognized by the UGC. The graduation shall conform to (10+2+3) years or (10+2+4) years of schooling.
  • The candidate must have completed graduation with minimum of 50 % of aggregate marks [45 % in the case of specified categories].
  • Those who are in the final year of graduation may seek provisional admission. Provisional admission will be granted subject to the student submitting the graduation results satisfying the above conditions latest by 31st October of the year of admission
  • The candidate must also have valid scores from any one of the all India tests: CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT taken not earlier than 12 months at the time of application.

Loans

As programs are approved by AICTE, all students pursuing the program are eligible to apply for education loans that are being offered by nationalized and private banks in India. SBS has signed MOUs with SBI, Vijaya Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Credenc and so on to enable speedy processing of the loan application of students admitted to SBS. Loans are decided by the respective banks based on their prevailing policies and guidelines and applicants will have adhere to these.

FIIB’s Scholarship Programme offers unique scholarships to help PGDM aspirants who have demonstrated their aptitude for a career in business management to pursue and realize their dreams.

01. FIIB Merit-Based Scholarship Programme

FIIB Scholarship Program is designed to choose highly meritorious students and includes a total of 10 scholarships of up to 100% tuition fee value for the specially selected students admitted to the PGDM and PGDM-FM programmes. Many more partial tuition grants of 5-10% are also available for other deserving candidates, or those belonging to special categories, under the Tuition Assistance Programme (TAP).
 

02. FIIB Scholarships – Tuition Assistance Programme (TAP)

Scholarships of up to Rs.2,20,000 per student are awarded to deserving students decided on the basis of:

  • Past Academic Performance (Graduation, Xth and XIIth Standard)
  • Score in Competitive Examinations
  • Relevant Work Experience.
Conditions for Grant of Scholarship To ensure that you continue to achieve what you have done in your past academic pursuits and achieve new goals, there are certain conditions laid for the grant of scholarship
  • The student has to maintain a minimum GPA of 8.0 (out of 10.0) for every term till Term IV at FIIB.
  • The student should remain in good standing and comply with the accepted code of conduct of the Institute.
  • The Student has to maintain 90 % attendance in every course.

03. R. K. Shrivastava Scholarship Programme

  • Once the application is received by the Admission Department of IBA Bangalore, the student will receive a confirmation call and an email from the admissions department regarding the initial round of selection process i.e., submission of the SOP (Statement of Purpose).
  • The next step of the selection process will be intimated to a student after receipt of the SOP.
  • Students shall attend the Selection Process on the designated Date and Time along with the Original Copies of all their relevant documents.
  • The result shall be intimated to students within 3 to 4 working days from the day of the Selection Process. Selected students will receive an Admission Letter through email as well as by Post.
  • Students need to send a confirmation mail of accepting the offer of admission within the specified date as mentioned in the admission letter. After the last date, the seat will be offered to the next deserving candidate.
  • Selected students are required to pay the prescribed fee by the date specified in the admission letter.

PGDM Admission Procedure

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (Open Category) & 45% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (Reserved Category) in any discipline from a University. If you are appearing for the final year of graduation in your admission year, you too are eligible. Such an admission is provisional and applicable if the student scores 50% aggregate marks (Open Category)/45% aggregate marks (Reserved Category) in the examination once the results are published.

The selection to the Post Graduate Diploma in Management program is purely based on performance in CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / GMAT score followed by Group Discussion and Panel Interview. The Group Discussion and Panel Interview are integral components of the admission process. The objective is to identify and assess interpersonal skills in addition to the overall knowledge. Due weightage is given to past academic achievements and work experience respectively apart from the above-mentioned parameters.

Entry requirement’s:

  • Bachelors Degree in any field with a minimum aggregate of 55%

A: Graduates or final year students passing out in 2021 with a valid CAT / XAT or MAT score are eligible to apply for an MBA at BIBS. The application form is available for download on the website.
