Image Resizer
Change the width and height of a photo in pixels, centimetres or inches. You can also set a maximum file size in KB if a form needs one.
How to use
- Tap the box and choose a photo.
- Type the new width and height, and pick the unit.
- Keep "Keep aspect ratio" ticked so the picture does not look stretched.
- Tap Resize image and download the result.
For cm or inch sizes, the tool turns them into pixels using DPI. 300 DPI is common for print and form photos.
Questions and answers
How do I resize an image to a specific size?
Choose the image, type the width and height you need, pick the unit and tap Resize image.
What does Keep aspect ratio mean?
It keeps the picture's shape. If you change the width, the height changes by itself so the picture is not squeezed or stretched.
Can I resize to cm or inches?
Yes. Pick cm or Inches in the Unit box. The tool uses the DPI value to work out pixels.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. This tool runs inside your browser. Your file stays on your phone or computer and is never sent to our server.
Is this tool free?
Yes. It is free, needs no sign-up and has no daily limit.
